Best hamburgers hands down. Small quaint place, with friendly staff. Centrally located, a good place for lunch where you can get in and out on an hour lunch break. They only take cash so come prepared. Closes at 4 PM

The wait staff was somewhat unprofessional. We could hear them arguing during our meal. The food was plentiful, somewhat bland. Good prices. Feels like perhaps we just caught them on an off afternoon.

Burgess Grill is a Classic Diner in Downtown Lawton. It is owned by Ms. Burgess, who is over 90 years old and goes in almost every day. Great hospitality and food.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child and the burgers have always been my favorite! Even after traversing the world and trying many different varieties of burgers I still crave their classic bacon cheeseburger. The slightly sweet burger buns with the cheesiest cheddar and a pattie cooked just right make for one hell of a burger experience! Excellent prices and expedient service! Might I add they’ve got a fantastic menu! Their friendly staff will always customize your order to the best of their ability regardless of the requests! Have and will always love this place. Living a world away from here, now, I will always return when I visit home. Truly, a special place!

CASH ONLY! But it's well worth the trip to the atm! I fell in love the first time I came here with the flame burger, spicy enough, super cheesy and just one of the best burgers I've had. Also recommend the pizza burger and the steak and cheese hoagie. The hoagie has thick slices of steak and the perfect amount of cheese.This place has that home town atmosphere and I love taking people here.

Hands down THE BEST BURGER in Lawton Oklahoma! This is exactly what a diner burger should be. Big patty, big bun that has been dipped in fat and grilled on the flat top. Covered in fresh veggies and every time you take a bite juice and condiments run down your hands. Fries are always crispy. Get the grilled onion burger💚💚

Our entire family enjoyed our meals! We each got a different type of cheeseburger. Crunchy onion, chilli burger, regular cheese burger, and the one with saracha (I forget the name!). They burgers are HUGE. It was good!

Waitress vented her frustrations of another customer to us, while that customer sat less than 5 feet away. Made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, this is a great family owned restaurant!!

It was okay but I've had a better burger

***First Visit*** I wasn't really hungry so had the frito pie. It was okay. Service was great though.***Second Visit*** I'm still not impressed with food (overcooked and cold), but again, great service. Probably won't be back.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Dont live in Oklahoma anymore but I try to order from here when I can. The food and the staff wonderful. Definitely one of my favorite places. Bring cash as they don't take cards.

The fried pickles were amazing, the burgers were huge, and the toppings were great, but the burger patty itself was completely unseasoned, which made the burger become average sadly. The waitstaff was friendly albeit a bit inattentive. Cash only in 2019, which isn’t great, and they close at 4, which is kind of early. Experience was okay overall.

This is one of those "hole in the wall" places that is amazing. The food is incredible and the service is impeccable. We consistently have an amazing experience here and it is one of our go-to restaurants.

There was only one waitress that acted like she wanted to be there. The burgers were alright. The fries werent even cooked right. They tasted soggy. I Will not go back to this place. Boomerang is better than this place.

Real good food and great service.

CASH ONLY. Great food. It is one of my favorite burger places in town. Also has quite the selection. Will also make to order. Restaurant can get quite loud during the lunch rush. If you want a quiet lunch get it to go or come before or after the rush. Waitresses are not the happiest but have always provided good service.

The food was amazing and there was great service. The waitresses were super nice. I would highly recommend this place. The prices were fair and the portions were generous. Everything was homemade and you could tell. Such a great place.

The Burger was way to thin. Not the same burger that I'm use to getting there. I had the Hodgepodge burger.I've always bragged about their Burgers but what I got today resembles a Wopper Jr. I could have saved money by going to Burger King. In the past there has been an Asian Lady (maybe the owner) who has did the Burgers. She put out a Burger that Burgess Grill can be proud of and live up to its reputation of one of the best if not the best places to get a Burger in Lawon an surrounding areas. I hope this review will be takin seriously so I can continue going there for my Hamburger needs.Let me be clear about one thing. I think Burgess Grill is one of the best places to eat. My rating is for this one visit only and it applies to the Burger only and not the Staff or Customer service in general.

Love the food & service!

I was on my lunch break and my buddy recommended trying here. It was amazing very delicious waiter was busy but still nice the whole time. I'm definitely coming back here. Great job guys. I highly recommend here.

A lot of people say that this is the best place to get a burger in town, and normally I would agree. Though I have to say, from my last two experiences dining here, I noticed that the burger patties are getting smaller and smaller. It makes me sad because they are so good. I still highly recommend this place for it's good service, and for the friendly employees/atmosphere. This is a must visit place if you are in town and you want a good burger. I highly recommend.

A Lawton tradition with a variety of delicious burger and sandwich selections. You can never go wrong with a Burgess Burger! The real treat is Mrs. Burgess's traditional Japanese specialties. My favorite, the Beef Fried Rice, is shown in the picture. Make sure to bring cash! :)

Great place! Food is always consistent and good. Service is generally quick and efficient. Burgers are great and onion rings are the best. Take CASH, because they dont take cards.
